Eeyore (Sketch)

My mother passed away today, very early in the morning. It wasn't a sudden thing, as she had been battling cancer for over three years, but it still hurts all the same. I drew this for her during her last few days, while sitting nearby her overnight to take care of her medications. Eeyore was a favorite character of hers, so I was hoping that drawing him would help at least raise her spirits a bit. I didn't get to see her reaction to it (I wasn't present the only other times afterwards that she was conscious), but I heard that it brought a smile to her face, so I'm glad to have been able to help her out in what little way I could.
